Hello and welcome to SIGNALLING PHOTOS - The Railway Signalling Photo Archive!

The railway is continually and rapidly changing and the prospect of history being created all around us is very exciting. This website contains collections from various signalling enthusiasts and railwaymen and women who have taken the opportunity to take record signalling installations over their careers. This equipment won't be around forever - when it's gone, it's gone - and then all kinds of questions about 'how things used to be' come out of the woodwork!

This collection is primarily an historical archive. It is not intended to be an art gallery, it is intended to record information about signalling. All photos were taken by or for the authors shown on each page, and were taken either from public areas, or on visits with official permission, or in the course of duty.
